Project description
As fires move in a geographic area it can be very complicated and difficult to predict, especially when burned for many days in large areas. Also an important role to extinguish the fire are the early warning systems (fire detection sensors) and the capabilities of firefighting aircraft (fuel, transportable gods matter-water, fuel, fire fighting only until Sunset). Two simulation models are presented at the present time, a model for the spread of fire, using geo-simulation, which is designed to explore some of the environmental variables that affect the The simulation has been developed in NetLogo.
